CELEBRATING

10 YEARS

Hear our story as we celebrate 10 years!

Growing, Connecting, & Activating a Community of Christians working throughout the sports industry

2012

  • Drew is pursuing a career in sports while working as a Graduate Assistant with Virginia Tech Football (previously worked as a student manager at the University of MN and completed internships with the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego (now LA) Chargers.

  • In the summer of 2012, Drew goes on a mission trip to Rwanda that is funded by Drew selling his old gear from previous teams he has worked for. It is a life-changing experience for Drew as the Lord shows Drew the impact the resources of the sports industry have on those he is able to serve, and the impact that Jesus and serving have on Drew.

  • That Fall, Drew returns for the final semester to VT and is assigned a class project - ‘create’ a nonprofit. Drew runs with the idea of connecting those working in sports with the experience he just had in Rwanda. Clean Out For A Cause is envisioned as the way to fund this mission by collecting donations of used and excess gear from college and pro teams throughout the country.

2013

  • Spring 2013: MOAM receives it's first ever donation of gear from Drew's former boss Coach Tubby Smith as he transitions from the University of MN to Texas Tech.

  • With the help of his Bible Study partners and Coach Smith's donation, MOAM is launched in May of 2013 and officially announced at the AEMA Convention in June in Vegas.

  • All Clean Out donations are shipped to Drew’s sister and parents home for the next year while Drew works as EQ Manager with Auburn Football.

  • Fall 2013 - MOAM launches first scholarship award sponsored by Texon.

It wouldn't be possible without your support, donations, and generosity!

We never imagined that Managers On A Mission would grow from a small community of student managers to the dynamic community of Christian sport industry professionals it is today.

The support, donation, and generosity of others have been instrumental in helping to develop this community.

We cannot wait to see what the Lord will do next! We invite you to continue partnering with us in a few critical areas of need.

As a vital member of the USG Family, we hope you take great joy in all the Lord continues to do in USG!

Sincerely,

Drew Boe

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
