Meet our Ministry Staff

Drew Boe
Executive Director
Drew Boe has served as the Executive Director of USG since founding the ministry in May of 2013.
His personal pursuit of a career in the sport industry started with his time as a student manager for the University of Minnesota Gopher's Football and Men's Basketball teams. While completing his undergraduate degree in Sports Management at the University of Minnesota from 2008-2010, Drew interned with the Arizona Cardinals and the San Diego, now Los Angeles, Chargers.
These experiences led Drew to complete his Master's Degree at Virginia Tech while serving as a Graduate Assistant Equipment Manager for Virginia Tech Football. His first full-time position as an Equipment Manager was with the Auburn University Football team from 2013 to 2014.
Drew resides in Minneapolis and loves spending his free time with his nephew and family, staying active, serving in local homeless ministries, and has most recently, has become an avid pickleball player.

Seth Ralston
Ministry Operations
& Events Manager
Seth has served as the Ministry Operations Manager for Uncommon Sports Group® since January 2018. In his role, Seth oversees all programming logistics, training, and events for the organization.
Prior to joining the staff, Seth spent time serving in numerous basketball operations roles, most notably for the women's basketball programs at Mercer, Austin Peay, and Western Kentucky.
Seth has also led many sports missions trips around the world, serving in over a dozen countries as well as living in Turkey for a short time.
Seth resides in Minneapolis with his wife, Andrea, and their new baby girl, Hadley. He enjoys traveling to new countries, golfing, and exploring the Twin Cities.

Michael Carpenter
Senior Engagement Associate
Michael has served as Senior Engagement Associate at USG since July 2018. He oversees professional development, strengths training, scholarship funding, and domestic service projects. He also served on USG's inaugural mission trip in 2014 to Mzuzu, Malawi.
Prior to joining staff, Michael served four seasons as a student manager for the University of Virginia men’s basketball program from 2010-14 while receiving his B.S. in Politics: Foreign Affairs.
Michael made stops at D.C. United, Wake Forest University, Texas A&M University, and Liberty University, each in a variety of development roles. Michael also earned his master's in higher education (Athletic Administration) from the University of Oklahoma in 2015.
Michael enjoys spending quality time with friends, watching his Indianapolis Colts, eating Chick-fil-a, and serving through international missions.

Suzanne Snyder
Engagement Associate
Suzanne has served as an Engagement Associate since April of 2021 and helps develop, engage, and recruit USG members.
Prior to joining staff, Suzanne coached women's volleyball at Simpson College (Indianola, IA). In the fall of 2020, Suzanne received her Master's in Sport Management from Bournemouth University (UK).
Previous to earning her master's, she played two years of professional volleyball in Finland following her time at Iowa State University where she received her B.S. in Kinesiology Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching and Teaching Theory.
Suzanne enjoys drinking coffee, reading, being active and adventurous, and playing volleyball as much as possible. Suzanne resides in Minneapolis with her husband, Tyler.

Noah Weiss
Engagement Associate
Noah has served as an Engagement Associate since May of 2021 and helps develop, engage, and recruit USG members.
Prior to joining staff, Noah attended Butler University in Indianapolis, IN where he received a B.S in marketing at the Lacy School of Business, while also serving as a basketball manager for the Butler Bulldogs men's team. During this time, Noah served as a student leader for the Athletes in Action ministry in Indianapolis and interned with the Indianapolis Colts in the operations department.
Noah enjoys running, watching the New England Patriots, and serving the Lord through the vehicle of sport.

Amanda Roth
Engagement Associate
Noah has served as an Engagement Associate since May of 2021 and helps develop, engage, and recruit USG members.

Josh Meyer
Director of Donor Relations
Josh has served in his role as a Director of Donor Relations since February of 2022 and helps lead our Clean Out For A Cause program as well as fostering relationships for our USG members.
Before joining USG full-time, Josh served for three years as a member of the board. His resume includes stops at Grand Canyon University, ACS Athletics, Front Rush, BSN Sports and most recently Helmet Tracker.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, Josh was a track and field athlete and also coached volleyball in Arizona. He enjoys being with his three amazing children, Parker, Addison and Reese and find time to travel with his wife Jenna. The Meyer's reside in Peoria, Arizona and find themselves frequenting Disney parks, riding their peloton and being with their large family in their free time.
