Mission trips are the backbone of Uncommon Sports Group. At its inception, USG was known as "Managers On A Mission" (MOAM). The organization had a simple mission: provide fully-funded international and domestic mission trips to athletics equipment managers and student managers.

As MOAM grew in popularity, the organization began to serve more than just athletics managers; it also served a wide array of industry professionals working throughout college and professional athletics. Because of this, the name Uncommon Sports Group was born to encompass the sport industry as a whole.

 

Despite the name change, international and domestic mission trips remain a core element of USG's ministry with Christian sport industry professionals. This page will provide detailed information on MOAM's and USG's past mission trip work both in the States and aboard.
