USG Mission Trips

Mission trips are a core element of Uncommon Sports Group. Initially named "Managers On A Mission" (MOAM), it began its kingdom work as a missions organization. MOAM had a simple goal: to provide fully-funded international and domestic mission trips to athletics equipment managers and student managers.

Since its inception in 2013, MOAM, now Uncommon Sports Group, has sent more than 170 individuals on 26 mission trips to 9 countries. As the MOAM program grew,  it became evident that these opportunities would benefit more than just athletics managers.

In order to serve a greater number of sport industry professionals, MOAM rebranded to Uncommon Sports Group (USG). USG seeks to create a community of Christians by connecting, activating, and growing believers working in college and professional sports.

Despite the name change, international and domestic mission trips remain a pillar of USG's ministry. This page provides detailed information on USG's past mission trip work, within the United States and aboard.
